After careful consideration, mixed with the Cumulus Club on Facebook, I have decided the following: Write some or all of my posts in English. This because several posts on the Albin Cumulus Club in Facebook have been in English, and several of the members there have requested English as written language.
I second that.
So this post is a bout me fixing the roof where the old sheave deck organizers was mounted.
Basic Info: The old ones probably from the time the boat was built, was drilled from the top, and from the inside they had drilled a larger hole to fir washer an nut. No mistake here… Well, after removing the old ones I could see a glimmer of light THROUGH the topcoat (not the hole), indicating that they had drilled waaay to deep. So for me to mount the new ones from Spinlock, I had to fill the holes first.
And I used Plastic Padding. Two component glassfiber filler, that hardens in like 10 minutes. Fantastic product. Managed to fill the holes from the cabin, used duct tape to hold it in for 10 minutes, and to push it up all the way to the top. Worked great. Posting more pictures that speak for themselves.
Duct-tape to push the filler to the top
Removed the old wheels here that hardly rotated, and gave them a rub, and greased them up. Better now, might invest in new ones
The “washer between them. Dirty as hell
Filled holes without duct-tape
